AESL stands for American English as a Second Language. Patty & Dave are native American English speakers, who now live in Hungary and are learning Hungarian, but AESL is all English. Student/clients will be offered sessions from 45 minutes for teens to one hour for adults. A basic understanding of beginning English is best to start. They use Fluentize, a software that has a sort video and some follow up activities in reading and writing. Clients may request a customized session based on your work or hobby needs.
Patty & Dave use ordinary conversational stories to grow their clients' vocabulary and understanding of American English. They offer a unique American experience from a lifetime of living in the USA and travel. They can share from David's time as a chef, to his boatbuilding and passion for motorcycles. Patty has a backround in office administration, love of travel, fine art, and crochet.
A new client should decide which time slot is best, then a contract will be sent. Once the contract is signed, an invoice will follow. Sessions are paid in advance monthly. 4 sessions are required to start. You may request one initital get to know us visit if you like.
